I thought Kubrick destroyed all the sets from 2001.

Sad that an Earth-Moon shuttle should end up like this.

Note to vampire self...don't let Bruce choose where to put my coffin.

Geez Louise, these things have wine cellars.

But what Bruce really needs is a small, quiet cabin.

If that's where I think it is (I think I recognize the location though not the "cabin") that is trompe l'oeil on what I remember as a blank wall.

In which case perfect for Bruce.

↑ Nope, it's genuine (but "artsy"). And in SF (even if the über-French tobacco "carotte" astonished me!).

That's it then.

But the cabin was added later. :coolspecs:

Thanks bud, I guess I could googled this me own self but 40ish years later. If I recall correctly this was the only intentional joke in the film.

Some years ago watching 2001 with a nephew one of the screens displayed ATM. Jesus they have to pay for food? Yes it costs big bucks to send Kubrick to Jupiter.

How do you get from ATM to paying for food?

Of course they do. And bad food too, just like we do today.
