↑ Rats! I wanted to post that. :x

What made me especially laugh was that the Postmodern BS Generator made it to a (more or less) peer-reviewed paper.

As with all things Thunderf00t that does not involve actual science, you get the entire story in the first five minutes.

I watched it last night (not the whole thing), but X beat me to the punch over here.

Synopsis ( my interpretation ) :

Thunderfoot was under the false impression that there was a "movement" and got bit because it's really a fandom complete with drama. So he is quitting the fandom because some SJW re-edited a video to make him appear to be a literal baby eater.

Didn't Peezus excommunicate him from the fandom a while back?

His science stuff is pretty damn good but his social shit is just that. He should limit those to five minutes with four of them introducing himself.

Against the SJW he doth protest too much; he comes off as a True Believer rather than an objective critic.

It is the same style for his science criticisms; however, he has very hard facts to critique Elon Musk and "Solar Freakin' Roadways." That takes time to explain.

With various SJWs once he demonstrates "whatever" the problem is, that should be it. Instead, he goes on and on, hammering down the subject with so much zeal he comes off like the typical NO U!!!!1!!!!FAG!!!11! Internet Expert ranting about Stone Temple Pilots being more influential than Nirvana. He comes off like the Twitter posts of Grothe.

I criticize him on that since, I have been informed by No One Reputable, that I have a tendency to pound the keyboards when confronted by, say, a fundamentalist threatening to pray for me or a Jets fan. Rhetoric is entertaining, yes, but best to back off and stick with the facts.

I think Thunderf00t would do better if he did that. Simply show his target's video/speeches/whatever once then calmly show how the target is wrong. Let the audience laugh rather than he ridiculing them. By appearing he has "an axe to grind," the SJWs can smear him as a MRA/Nazi/Jets Fan and pretend he does not matter.

Much like Peezus did.

With sentence fragments.

The title of the thread is "Skeptics in the News".

OK maybe not Real Skeptics TM or Real News TM , but it's as close as it gets.

Pretty amusing, too.

As long as the five minute limit is observed of course. 8)

Zinnia Jones has gone nuts. Some will say she was already there, but not like this.

The old atheist and gay rights stuff was great, and when she went that way I found the transgender stuff very informative.

But somehow Trump winning the election provoked a complete dive off the deep end.
