I wonder if Trump will tweet something tasteless and stupid.

Despite my political differences, he was a hero. We could use a lot more like him.

Yup. Safe travels.

What would have happened if he had not agreed to take "You Betchya!" as a running mate?

Would have been interesting.

He might have picked up a couple of close states, but Obama was a juggernaut at that time. Might have had a better chance if Romney was the candidate who lost in 2008 and McCain ran in 2012 instead.

GBM is not at all a pleasant way to go, and there really is no effective treatment for it. It is basically "6 Months if we do nothing," and "a Year if we do everything," including infusing napalm and whatever is the Next Best Treatment. Generally, "doing everything" is 1-2 years with the last year not being at all good.

Terrible, terrible disease.

Trump tweeted a simple "thoughts and prayers" Tweet.

He actually had a lead on Obama. What "did him in," was:
  • 1. People sick of Bush as they were sick of Clinton which hurt Gore.
    2. You Betchya!
    3. The Economic downturn and appearing not to have a plan on it.
perhaps if he had Romney as a running mate. Who knows? As a Sports Dude likes to joke about sports fans, according to them, "the [Your Team Here--Ed.] are undefeated in games they never played." I do think "sick of Obama" along with "Clinton? Really?" helped to "do in" Her Turn.

Anyways, I do think he should have stepped down after December knowing he was not coming back.

Sally Fields is giving him a hard time forever.

Some would call that Hell, but that's a matter of taste really.
