When did spacemen wearing a mixture of ‘Las Vegas style Roman legionary’ and ‘Jane Fonda workout gear’ become a thing? 1930’s?

Not that she spends a lot of time sitting in the chair, more on her knees.

I'm not so happy about the "colorizing" justification, but that's a minor gripe.

I remember the arguments about colorizing back in th day. Fact is that it makes the images accessible to a modern audience and that is presumably the reason for creating the images in the first place. The best way of reflecting the "intent" of the filmaker is to do anything that increases the audience.

That saiid, I could watch those restored images all day.

A group of royals at the end of the 19th century. Many of the leaders of the big European powers on the eve of World War I were related. In this 1894 picture, the Prince of Wales, later to become King Edward VII, can be seen on the back-right. Next to him stands Wilhelm II, the emperor of the German Reich.

Everyone dies. Even ugly little dogs.
