But they're sooooo cute and cuddly. Until they bite ya.

Try to understand them: it's not rabies, they're just mightily pissed off to have to live in Florida, poor beasts. :P

What the fuck is up with the weather there next week? I'm not driving down for temps in the 60s! Maybe I'll go fish the Everglades first, looks to be a bit warmer there until things return to normal next weekend. Chokoloskee looks like a good kayak launch point.

Sailfish from a kayak would be something lol!

I'll be inshore fishing for trout, redfish, snook, pompano, etc.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A grandson of cult leader Charles Manson won the bizarre California court battle Monday over the killer's body.

Kern County Superior Court Commissioner Alisa Knight ruled that Jason Freeman can retrieve the remains of Manson that have been on ice in the Bakersfield morgue since he died in November.

...

Freeman,of Florida, is the son of the late Charles Manson Jr., who was the child of Manson and his first wife.

Could go in the "Keep off the streets" thread, but of course Florida has precedence:
Miami.com wrote:The stars of the hit-and-run sledgehammer video are the heroes Miami deserves

Heroes live among us. And by “heroes,” we don’t mean heroes, exactly. We mean something a lot less benevolent and a lot more Miami.

A flock of these avenging angels descended on the corner of Northeast 36th Street and Biscayne Boulevard on Sunday, when a hit-and-run driver caused a crash and tried to flee (because Miami).

Caught 2 nice slot redfish today. Biggest was 26" and hit when I didn't have my anchor out. Dragged me around a bit then went under the kayak and pulled me into the mangroves but I finally boated that fucker. :)
