That is some weapons-grade stupid there.

I've got another one. I was going to start a thread about this one, but it fits in quite well with the topic here too:

Christian couple vow to divorce if same-sex marriage is legalised
A Canberra couple have vowed to get a divorce, ending their "sacred" 10-year union, if Australia allows same-sex couples to legally marry.

Nick Jensen and his wife Sarah believe widening the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples threatens the sacred nature of the union and leaves the door open to polygamy.

The Christian couple have been happily married for over a decade, have no intention of separating and hope to have more children.

More proof that the gays are destroying traditional marriage! Oh the humanity!!! :x

Watching the last gasps of bigotry proves most amusing.

The first is merely ignorant: pondering upon what he does not know. He could be taught.

The second is willfully ignorant. For them, there is no education, only bigotry.

Rather like Tinkerbell.

Four Western tourists are facing three months in a Malaysian prison after allegedly stripping naked on a "sacred" mountain — an act local tribes believe angered spirits and triggered a deadly earthquake.

The HuffPost wrote:Louisiana Republican Recalls Imaginary Time When Scientists Burned Heretics At The Stake

A Louisiana state senator recently offered a puzzling rationale for why schools in the state should be allowed to teach creationism.

Last month, Louisiana lawmakers considered a measure to repeal the Louisiana Science Education Act, a 2008 law that critics have characterized as a way of giving teachers latitude to introduce creationism and other unscientific theories into state classrooms.

In an April 22 hearing, state Sen. Elbert Guillory (R) made it clear that he would vote against the measure […]

“There was a time, sir, when scientists thought that the world was flat. And if you get to the end of it, you’d fall off," Guillory said. "There was another time when scientists thought that the sun revolved around the world. And they always thought to ensure that anyone who disagreed with their science was a heretic. People were burned for not believing that the world was flat. People were really badly treated."
[…]
Guillory has attracted criticism in the past for strange defenses of what should and shouldn't be taught in science class. A few years back, he appeared to express concern that repealing the LSEA would mean that the teachings of a witch doctor he had met -- a man who “wore no shoes, was semi-clothed, [and] used a lot of bones that he threw around” -- would be off-limits.

Efforts to repeal the LSEA have failed five years in a row, with no legislation even making it out of the state Senate Committee on Education, despite support from 78 Nobel laureates.

I'll put the most charitable possible construction on it and observe that they have repented of a rash vow, and that's a good thing.

Meanwhile, it is a data point against the contention that the presence of same sex marriage weakens the institution.

Had a patient shot in the internet. I told the family that, fortunately, he was shot in the 90% of the internet we do not use.

I knew it! That would explain all of the penis enlargement advertisements I keep getting. It's like they already knew, because they do. The advertisements are coming from the future through the dark quantum web. Now I understand what it all means. Thank you for showing me the last piece of the puzzle.

I'll get the scalpel.
