I wonder how closely the number of calls correlates with actual number of people that ingest these things. A 5-figure number seems very high to me. I would think people would be more careful if they have young kids. I guess it's a big country though, so maybe that's not so surprising.
Maybe these pods just look too attractive? They do kinda look like some kind of candy or teething toy. Something a baby would probably put in their mouth if they get their hands on it.
