Brain Aneurism

I have a family member with that problem.

Can anyone with skilled googlefu find recovery statistics comparing catheter through groin versus open skull surgery?

Per the Mayo clinic, both are viable treatments. The catheter treatment is less invasive, but may lead to more treatment necessary down the road, while the clipping the aneurysm at the source seems to be more dangerous in the short term, but has better long term success.

I would go with the clipping if it were me.
