Now I don't know if the people who were flown here from West Africa for treatment are counted in that country's case count. Probably so, because they are not counted in the USA totals.
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Amber Vinson is getting better:

http://www.cleveland.com/akron/index.ss ... ebola.html
Amber Joy Vinson, the nurse who contracted Ebola after treating Thomas Eric Duncan in Dallas, is free of the Ebola virus and regaining strength, according to a statement by her family Wednesday afternoon.

Vinson's mother, Debra Berry, spoke to Vinson at Atlanta's Emory University Hospital and said healthcare professionals there have determined that there are no detectable copies of the virus in Vinson's body, family spokesman Steven Jumper wrote.

Ebola and the Media's Multiple Personality Disorder
Reason
In the human body, Ebola causes fever, diarrhea, vomiting, uncontrollable hemorrhaging, and usually death. In the media, it causes a sort of multiple personality disorder. Since the current outbreak began, the press has wavered uneasily between intimations of doom and assurances that everything is under control.

Ebola doesn't need to be airborne to infect: We have commercial airlines for that damnit!

Soooo ... it has mutated to becoming an airborne pathogen. Interesting.

I see what you did there.

Anyway, New York has nothing to worry about. Cleveland officials will be offering expert advice. All will be well.

yeah but yeah but yeah but ... that assumes random processes. The odds of dying in a plane crash are whatever but if you don't fly, they are zero.

The fact is that Ebola is being spread by Islamists and that if you are in a major us city the odds of getting it, infecting your family and you all dieing are close to 87%. Further, the "axe strain" is likely to increase in virulence and range and will probably triple the above probability, at least.

New York doctor diagnosed with Ebola; health officials say no cause for panic
"We want to state at the outset that New Yorkers have no reason to be alarmed," de Blasio said.

Fucker is a commie and can't be trusted. Lets examine his reassurance, shall we?
"New Yorkers who have not been exposed are not at all at risk."
I feel better now.

One question: Why don't they quarantine returning health care workers over there rather than letting them fly home while they're not symptomatic, only to have them collapse at Joes Barn and Grill Bowling Emporium? And this dumb fucker is a doctor..........A GODDAMNED DOCTOR..............who proceeded to wander around the city while he should have been in his apartment for the required incubation period.

Dumb fuck.

Next up: The girlfriend will come down with it too because the very first thing they did when he got home was a 'missed you' fuck or two. It'll take about another two weeks to confirm her.

And then Dick Head says on TV: "We're doing everything that can be done." Except getting out in front of this shit.

Fools. I'll destroy them all!!11Eleventy :-)
