Big Drop in Share of Americans Calling Themselves Christian
NY Times

All other media references to this story that I have seen speak of a decline in Christianity, whether by gloating atheists or fundies seeing signs of the end.

The biggest decline is "mainline Protestant".

The NYT doesn't quite say it, but really a decline in folks pretending to believe in that shit.

Yea that. I bet the level of devotion remains identical. It's all in the survey question I suppose.
