I really think that's the ticket. You'd they they'd learn. Advertise Organic, Sell something else that is clean. Or better supervision. They lack that. They have the meal making down to a science that doesn't require any adult leadership. So they hire none.
How common are these types of incidents in other restaurants though? This could be like airline news, one bad story makes everything related go viral.

No way to know if it doesn't show up on drudge. See my post just prior.

Estimates vary, but here's a couple of them

"We estimate that foodborne diseases cause approximately 76 million illnesses, 325,000 hospitalizations, and 5,000 deaths in the United States each year. Known pathogens account for an estimated 14 million illnesses, 60,000 hospitalizations, and 1,800 deaths."

"Jul 15, 2016 - Burden of Foodborne Illness: Findings. CDC estimates that each year roughly 1 in 6 Americans (or 48 million people) gets sick, 128,000 are hospitalized, and 3,000 die of foodborne diseases."

So millions of illnesses, hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations and thousands of deaths (in the U.S. alone).

But the source is key. I've gotten sick and always [thought I] knew the source.

video.
A Chipotle spokesperson called it "an extremely isolated and rare incident"
