I thought it was done today, but it was hiding on the other side of my cubicle wall. Now the string is occasionally touching the desk, which it bounces back up from as the desk takes some of the weight.

It is almost done. Only supporting about 3 inches of string now, near the floor. Actually, it's barely supporting that, but I removed the string and it started to float upwards slowly, so it still has just a little buoyancy.
