The idea that the CNN gif (which they doxxed the creator of btw) inspires violence is the silliest fucking bullshit they have ever tried to peddle.

Very Fake News. Fuck you. Goodbye CNN.

One could say that the Happy Medium in this argument is that both CNN and 4chan fucktards are fake news repositories. But nobody ever had to worry about an insane CNN journalist charging them down with a loaded gun.
It's "pea-can", man.

I'd say claiming that schizophrenic Jared Loughner's shooting Gabby Giffords was Sarah Palin's fault was far sillier.

As I understand it, they wanted to release a bipartisan statement about their concerns and Mitch wouldn't sign on.

Honestly? I'm glad it didn't happen. An announcement of interference by propaganda, even if it were 100 percent true and confirmed, would have done nothing to counter its effects. It just would have thrown more fuel on what was already a garbage fire and divided Americans further. Absent evidence of direct electoral manipulation, nobody could talk about it without appearing biased. That sort of thing has to wait until between presidential elections to even consider what the hell anyone in government can or should do about it.

So the FBI blames the 5 months of missing text messages on a Samsung software update. Trump declares incredulously in a tweet "Blaming Samsung!" and now the press is claiming that Trump is blaming Samsung, which is apparently really really bad when Trump does it but just fine when the FBI does it because reasons.

I don't think that's particularly stupid no matter who says it. A software update on a mobile device can kill your history, can't it?

It's not Samsung's "fault", just a consequence of how the phones work.

It's just an unfortunate coincidence that the software update only affected the phones of Page and Strzok, right?

I don't know. The timing could definitely be investigated. Was an update pressed at that time for their models?

I don't even believe that either.

For Russia, the sweet taste of Trump's victory has turned sour
CNN)On the night of Donald Trump's inauguration as US President, champagne corks popped in Moscow.

Literally, on the floor of the Russian parliament, MPs cracked open bottles of sparkling wine and toasted his victory.

The thing is, they saw Trump's victory as their victory, too. And why wouldn't they? As presidential candidate, Trump promised to turn US policy towards Russia on its head.

They expect to have the White House in a few years.
