Yes, he (Trump) reduced corporate tax rates. His cronies got what they wanted, not the American worker. The unemployment rate has fuck all to do with anything Trump has done. And a 'higher level of confidence in the future of the economy'? What the fuck are you smoking xoup? Leveling the playing field in international trade. Indeed. Let's talk to our trading partners and see just how fucking happy they are with us right now and then contemplate the repercussions of that shit.
Seems you are veering away from a friendly kind of conversation. If you want to just rant or get nasty, then perhaps I should respectfully decline to participate. Otherwise I would be happy to answer legitimate and reasonable questions and explain in more detail the points I was trying to make. Let me know.
Apologies xoup. I want to keep it the debate on the highest level possible, but sometimes get burdened with that inevitable emotional response.

I'm a fucking primate after all! :)

And where do you think those tax savings go? Be sure to post evidence!
In the seventh holiday homes of the CEOs? And no evidences because that's the way you play the game. Have fun! :)

And what does that mean?
Unless they are Scrooge McDuck, that means that the money goes into a local economy. If it is a home, then the trades and local merchants. And it happens without some percentage going to support a bloated washington bureaucracy.

And that is bad why?

Is it axiomatic that the way rich people spend money is somehow more evil than the way the government spends it?

I make no bones about it. When I was in CT I spent lots and lots of money that might have gone to taxes. Where did it go? The building trades, local merchants, property maintenance folks (mexican!! virtue signaling!!) local charities and payoffs to local politicians.

This was direct support of my local economy, no money in mattresses, all spent.

Why is this not at least as good as having it go to DC so that some unelected fucker can spend it? It seems to me that folks who bitch about well off people getting tax cuts really are not thinking clearly, or they have a childlike belief that somehow the money going to politicians is "better" in some quasi-religious way. It also smacks not a little of plain old jealousy.

Tell me please.

https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/bo ... ises-trump
The mayor of Somerville, Massachusetts, Joseph Curtatone, is boycotting Sam Adams after co-founder Jim Koch praised President Trump’s tax cut plan at a dinner in New Jersey last week, saying it allows his Boston Beer Company to compete with foreign breweries.

Apparently that was enough for Curtatone to abstain from sipping a brew from one of America’s largest microbrewers. Curtone tweeted on Sunday that he “will never drink Sam Adam's beer again!”

The mayor also tweeted that “We need to hold these complicit profiteers of Trump's white nationalist agenda accountable,” and asked Koch whether he brought up immigration policy.
Yes perfectly reasonable.

If there is 4.1 growth and you are muttering the word Russia you might have TDS.
Can you at least acknowledge that this is a continuation of a trend that began under Obama?
Again, no. Some evidences:

As always, Your Mileage May Vary™.

I was going to quote some examples from that article but there are too many to choose from. It's not a long read, but I shouldn't quote the whole thing.
