Nope.

She is a US Senator and therefore lowest scum, at best trading upon a past when she was still a fellow human being though deluded.

Trump may be full of shit in this as in everything else, but bringing up the draft dodger thing is an insult to decent people who were draft dodgers.

Shit like this is why I will never vote at all.
How is it an insult to other draft dodgers?

It's never going to change because there are never any consequences for politicians who do this nonsense.

Even if they lose at the polls, they've already made their fortunes and go on to work for corporations. Best gig in America.

Cutting pay could back fire, in that the wealthier connected congress critters can use threat of shutdown against the lesser ones.

That would assume there is, actually, a poor congressman.

So even though Schumer said he would hold up the current budget stopgap for DACA, and that it was a stated party goal, Democrats are so out of the loop they've already fallen back on McCarthyism.

So which is it, are you making a brave stand for illegal rights or is it russian bots? The left hand doesn't know which hole the right hand is wiping.

It could be a brave stand for DACA that Russian bots are trying to distort the perception of approval for.

They had a bipartisan deal before the White House torpedoed it.

I think it got torpedoed when they decided to run that whole "shithole" rumor and bank on "we'll imply he's racist until he caves" strategy.

They didn't just burn the bridge, they poured oil in the river and set it on fire. They negotiate from a position of distrust now.

Maybe.

I think that might be off on the timing. I think the "shithole" meeting is precisely when Trump refused the deal, not in the aftermath. Even if he didn't use the terminology described, it seems he was expressing non acceptance of the deal right then. Any observation that the media is really good at chasing red herrings is definitely true of this.

Apparently, there was a giant cave-in somewhere in Washington DC?

lol

There has been a democrat narrative DNC repeated verbatim this morning about Trump refusing to negotiate all weekend. I guess when that didn't stick, they decided to cave-in and move on.
