Anyone from the UK reading this? What about Jacob Rees Mogg?

Anyone from the UK reading this? What about Jacob Rees Mogg?

Sargon of Akkad just said he'd make a good PM.

Based on me being a smartass I'm inclined to agree.

1) The perfect name.

Could be a character in a Dickens novel.

2) He looks like a Conservative Prime Minister

If I were casting a movie with a fictional Conservative Prime Minister as an important character, but not the main character, he'd be it.
Just like the guy who played the Mayor of New York City in the original Ghostbusters looked the part.

But what about for real?

I don’t think it will happen, just because he seems too far outside the “norm” for the UK (ie he wouldn’t appeal to centrist/swing voters).

Unless the Tories suffer a traumatic election result under May and retreat to their safe space comfort zone (I.e. how Ian Duncan Smith and William Hague each got in )
