Oklahoma Bill Introduced for Constitutional Carry
Ammoland
HB 2951 has been introduced in the Oklahoma House. It is an interesting version of Constitutional Carry. The bill adds self-defense to the list of activities that are exceptions to the general prohibition on carrying weapons that exist in Oklahoma law. It includes knives as well as guns.

...
Despite the use of the buzz phrase Constitutional Carry, this is in fact a gun control law that lays out exactly what is allowed or not allowed.

That is control not a ban nor a step toward a ban.

Nice to see the state legislatures turning this issue into pork.

except this section shall not prohibit:

1. The proper use of guns and knives for self-defense, hunting, fishing, educational or recreational purposes;
Just what scenario would not qualify for the exception? I mean, absent an incident that makes intent clear. I mean before.
"If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it, and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor. Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo! (Beat) Unless it's a farm!"

I like the little detail that the Oklahoma bill covers stuff like knuckledusters as well as guns.
