The March for Life

Post by corplinx » Thu Mar 15, 2018 11:54 pm

Umm... is anyone else disturbed at how Orwellian this was?

Mega astroturf operation by big special interests with local school districts assisting and worse censoring wrong think.

what in the fucking fuck.........

CNN was basically using kids as human shields for their OpEd groupthink? And schools participated instead of marking the kids AWOL? wtf

True Liberals are flustered over Bernie Sanders jumping on the bandwagon, because he voted for some pro-2nd Amendment bill some time ago, I don't know which.

Not to mention folks who were undecided about home schooling headed that way.

Sorry, apparently this was today. Previously they did a walkout.

This time they marched on washington.

How do hippies see this kid and not see a complete sociopath:

Oh well, I hope they have it out of their systems now. The rural voters turn off the TV everytime his psycho mug comes on trying to preach to them to turn in their guns.

Biggest echo chamber exercise ever.

When is someone going to start asking why school shootings have only been an issue the past 20 or so years? We had guns before. What are we doing wrong?

Nobody wants change. They just want to ride the corpses to power and glory.

Fuck em all.

The problem is schools that inculcate despair, and to the guardians of the status quo this is absolutely necessary and non-negotiable. Not that they ever put it in those terms even to themselves, but that is what's going on right now.

That is an end in itself, even if it can also be exploited for particular issues like this one.

Because in a general way despair makes people easier to manipulate and ideology follows interest.

It's not just the schools. So much of the security theater we are subjected to has the same effect of spreading despair.

She's referring this manifesto:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/com ... s-gun-laws

Specifically:
Change privacy laws to allow mental healthcare providers to communicate with law enforcement
As seen in the tragedy at our school, poor communication between mental healthcare providers and law enforcement may have contributed to a disturbed person with murderous tendencies and intentions entering a school and gunning down 17 people in cold blood.

We must improve this channel of communication. To do so, privacy laws should be amended. That will allow us to prevent people who are a danger to themselves or to others from purchasing firearms. That could help prevent tragedies such as the Parkland massacre.
As I've said, someone's rights are going to be violated. All we're arguing about is whose.

Because there will always be another tragedy and/or crisis until they get them all.

And I have no doubt that is an explicit strategy.

How did we manage care of the mentally unstable before this shit-storm? No need to re-invent the wheel it seems to me. Just put the fucking thing back on the car.

What was in place and/or happening before that isn't happening now?

Public schools which did not deliberately inculcate despair.

And does anyone doubt the Democratic Party already had this Children's Crusade organization ready to be deployed when the school shooting happened?

Because they knew there would be one and were ready this time.

Or do you really believe it was "spontaneous"?

Let me ask this again: How many mass shootings by either terrorists or the mentally challenged (is there a real difference) before Raygun dismantled mental health care and how many after?

ETA that which is bolded.

Not everything that happened while Reagan was president was caused by him.

It was a court order as the result of the ACLU being on the case.

And while I agree that this was a bad thing, I don't think it's particularly relevant to school shootings.
