Push Polls vs Results

Post by corplinx » Fri Nov 02, 2018 1:20 pm

Red Wave, Blue Wave? Suckers' game. We can't trust the pollsters.

Member Donald J. Trump having a chance of winning that was some multiplier of 'i' ?

What are you looking at?

I see all the excitement and enthusiasm to vote on the GOP side. They are happy, they acknowledge the economy instead of acting like deniers, and they see imminent threats that only Trump can handle (caravan/etc).

The DNC has all the major TV networks except 1 in their pocket running agit-prop nightly against Trump, but after 2 years, does Seth Myers/Kimmel/Colbert etc really have an effect or are they depressing Democrat voters due to the constant barrage of lies, fakenews, etc?

The problem with the media carrying your water is sometimes you would do better to not if the hicks start voting against that unholy alliance as a protest vote (see Brexit, Trump, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc).

The media is blacking out stories from Veritas already to try to get past the finish line.

Strange days, and they realize all the push polls in the world don't really mean a thing because there are PANICKING.

I've recevied four new nag letters from Democrat aligned PACS saying "WE'RE WATCHING TO SEE IF YOU VOTE". They are panicking over turnout. They have demotivated people from voting and they seem to know it. "what does it matter, we're already fucked?" seems to be a common millenial excuse.

The right wingers I know are absolutely livid over the DNC/media alliance to smear Kavanaugh.

The Democrats have backed off the Blue Wave narrative and are now doing some milquetoast "when we get the house" forecasting that is so milquetoast it hurts. "we plan to pass campaign finance reform!" It's like they aren't even trying.

Republicans in my state are being told here in the final days, "what you are really voting for is Trump or Pelosi". So unexciting candidates like Marsha Blackburn are being replaced with Trump himself with them as proxy votes. "Vote for Jobs, not mobs." That line works really well on republicans because despite FakeNews about Proud Boys, the republican base is livid at the media drawing leftist mobs as heroes. They can't forgive the media unless there are some major mea culpas from the big orgs where they admit to covering Antifa improperly.

So I see the protest vote going to the GOP, and the Dems having an issue getting their voters to the polls because they've emotionally worn them out with "ITS THE END OF THE WORLD" ... "AGAIN" every week.

Pelosi might get the house due to regional things being regional and the natural way mid-terms tend to go against Presidents, but I see Trump filling up stadiums while Biden/Obama can't fill a coffee house after you remove all the people forced to go as props.

There is a serious enthusiasm gap and I wonder how it will play out.

Even pollsters that aren't deliberately trying to drive a particular result are unreliable.

And getting more unreliable as more and more people do not cooperate.

I got 5 mail pieces today with some form of the intimidation technique "WE'RE WATCHING YOU" or some kind of shame message for Democrats.

I also get regular SMS messages from Florida (where i dont live) even though I don't have a florida area code. And it's my work phone. So I abuse the people doing it.

It shouldn't surprise me that they can access those records, I used to work with those databases in Nevada and know exactly who can access them and how and why. I used to threaten my daughter that I would make her a Republican if she didn't behave (only jokingly, of course, would never have tampered with those records)

But I will admit, it STILL feels kind of creepy to get texts telling me "We know you haven't voted...blah blah blah"

I am not sure who thought that kind of Orwellian bullshit was a bright idea, but whoever it was was mistaken.

But of course protestors at a Trump rally are not the Democratic Party vote, just a small subset who do not work for a living.

Republican canards aside ... wait a minute. That Infowars, right? :lmao:

Donald Trump seemed to understand crown dynamics. People willing to come to a rally and laugh and chant CNN sucks are willing to show up and pull a lever too. You've energized them.

The Democrats run on a hopeful message of "this is NAZI FUCKING GERMANY". They de-motivate their own base. The jews couldn't fix nazi germany from the inside.

Who is running their party? An orange cartoon is president and they should have the easiest job ever.

Today the mailers were from "BUILD THE WALL" republicans in my state. On their list of LIBERRUL boogeyman featured Crazy Nancy Pelosi and Cryin Chuck Schumer..... Corey Booker is now included.

See, I expect the typical GOP boogeymen. Hillary, Obama, Chuck, Nancy... but after the Salem Witch Trial Kavanaugh Hearing, Corey Booker hysterics, outright lies, and drama have earned him a spot as a motivator for republicans to vote.

Corey, you are inspiring the wrong party bro.

I've got the narratives lined up for this week:

GOP takes house:
Deplorables: The good guys win again. Mining salt. Pepe memes.
The media/DNC: stupid hicks were duped by fakenews, and russia!, trump won because he blames immigrants

Democrats take house:
Dems/media: brave new era, Trump soundly rejected by America, is it time for impeachment?, BLUE WAVE, WE TOLD YOU
GOP: Media blacked out stories that hurt Dems (pretty much true), Fraud at polls, illegals voted, yadda yadda

The "blue wave" has already fizzled, Democrats can't even get push polls to say they will win the Senate anymore. Now we're just waiting to see if it's salty snowflakes screaming NOOOOOOO on election night while the kids on 4chan do moonwalk and high fives or if the GOP is going to be sitting around yelling IF IT WEREN'T FOR DEAD VOTERS, WE'DUH WON.

I knew that.

Whereas Lenin was just the King (if you will) of the BIG one.
Which isn't a bad interpretation of "Bolshevik".

Also Michael wrote a book titled The Big One.
