What I am REALLY curious about is my states Governor’s race. Ryan Bundy is running, and while he won’t win, I am curious how well he does.

We also have Adam Laxalt running, the grandson of former governor Paul Laxalt, a very popular political figure around these parts (especially on Carson, because he was from here) but who is such a weenie that our current Republican governor wouldn’t endorse him and his own family cane out against him.

The Dem is Steve Sisolak, who seems a pretty normal politician but, IMO, has “Cheesy Used Car Salesman” written all over him

I think the polls overall were reasonably accurate

The results I'm seeing fall well within the range I saw predicted on 538 yesterday.

So what happened was not really different from mid terms from time immemorial.

Thing is that the unpopularity of Trump was really wildly overstated.

Pretty much. The House turnover was pretty much average for the President's party, Dems now have a very slim majority. GOP picks up Senate seats and RINOs like Corker and Flake and McCain aren't there to hold up judicial picks.

They quickly adjusted most polls at the end.

Gillum, gone. Beta O'Cuck: never existed, he was a CGI made by Disney for CNN to astroturf for. McCaskill: McGone. Bredesen: byebye.

Trump wanted to keep the senate and appoint Ginsburg's seat. He got what he wanted. The GOP house would have flipped anyway and they limited spending too much time/effort on it.

The Dem big money backers wasted a lot of 2020 money trying to create a "rock star" in Texas and I'm still laughing my ass off at Ted Cruz beating the guy. The media lost, Ted won.

"Weekend at Ruthies" will continue to be a joke meme for a while.
"If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it, and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor. Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo! (Beat) Unless it's a farm!"

It was super lame-o from day one. Not unlike the movie it's based on.
