I think mr. Modulo is right. The objective is facing backwards
It looks fine to me. It's hard to tell but it looks like there's a magnification/focus ring in the right place. And tactical scopes often have no bell on the front end, for example this one: https://www.cabelas.com/product/hunting ... ?slotId=10

Or this one: https://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product ... prd2575023

I think that the eyepiece is generally smaller diameter than the objective that they make large to increase the light gathering ability. Also the adjustments tend, I think, to be closer to the eyepiece.

I don't think there's any bell on the forward end of that scope. And when there is only one bell the bell is the eyepiece.

Might be right. Also it looks like the zoom ring is in the right place.

Here's a better view, no bell on the front of the scope. To see full size click here: https://dailycaller.com/wp-content/uplo ... st-End.jpg

Once again it looks like Nyarl is complaining about things only he can see.
And once again ....
oh, never mind.

How'd that salmon turn out?
You can lead them to knowledge, but you can't make them think.

Iduno. That one guy is holding a purse?
It's a bag of holding. 8)
Courier bag.

Dunno why he is carrying it, but I find them useful as hell at cons.

Ah, people still throwing shit at me, even when I ignore their very existence

I see. I keep their names out of my mouth, both in a real and virtual sense. If they weren’t scum, they’d return the courtesy.

Here's a hint: If you want people to stop throwing shit back at you, then perhaps you might consider not throwing shit at others.

You are no more immune from criticism on this forum than anyone else. Deal with it.
