html5 will kill flash eventually. i give it 2 yrs max.
HTML5 will kill flash once we all figure out what it actually is.
luckily that's transparent to non-programming users like me. i just open my browser one day and -- poof -- no more flash, everything runs native in the browser. there is a cool html5 test/demo page you can check out if you want.

Some of the stuff I've seen for HTML 5-- that page included-- is pretty awesome.
When one considers that our planet is doomed, at least as far as life is concerned, it is impossible to put meaningful value on the titanic forward struggle of life on Earth through billions of years. This struggle, whether conscious or not, appears agonizingly futile if the gigantic mass contribution can not be perpetuated.

Might as well use this to remind folks never to install Shockwave Player and to remove it if it is installed. Adobe just does not update that thing very often and you can expect unpatched Flash zero-day exploits.
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Once all the porn sites switch, that's when the tide will turn.
"If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it, and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor. Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo! (Beat) Unless it's a farm!"
