The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Anytime evidence is offered up then withheld it's inherently suspicious, is it not?
I never offered to post my personal tax forms.
And it's unreasonable to expect me to post them.
Get real.
But then I never said you offered to post them.

True, you never directly accused me of that particular thing, but you clearly implied nefarious motives on my part. Why did you do that?

Wanted to offer a neutral observation but you seem to have interpreted it as something else.

Your "observation" was not neutral. It was an implied accusation of wrongdoing on my part.

If that is not what you intended, then please clarify what you intended to say.

Thanks for explaining. Now I see where the misunderstanding is. You mistakenly felt I opened some kind of door. I did not. That was a misinterpretation on your part.

To be fair to Xouper, nobody actually asked for the personal details he mentioned. He DID provide separate corroboration of his claim.

I don't really see what the big deal is here.
"If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it, and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor. Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo! (Beat) Unless it's a farm!"

The issue at hand is if xcoup actually profited from this [probably dubious] creation of [obvious stovepipes]. I don't think he has and I said as much.

He offered proof.

It's so pointless, isn't it? Tax forms won't tell you that anyway. I took it as just an idiom for that he made money, not that it would serve as literal evidence of how he made it. The real question is whether such a skill has market value... why focus on Xoup personally?

Nope. I'm going to play this out. And don't call me Jake. Jake was my dog when I was five. A tree fell on him. He's never been right since.

He failed to provide, saying he never offered it.
You are mistaken in your interpretation and understanding of what I wrote.

I never offered to post my personal tax documents. I merely stated that I have them. And no reasonable person here would ever expect me to post them.

I can if necessary provide them to a court of law. I am also willing to swear under penalty of felony perjury that I do indeed have the 1099s and W2s. In fact I have already done so to the IRS.

I am fully aware that no one here is obligated to accept my word that I do in fact have those tax documents. So what. I don't care if you believe me or not. I know what the facts are and your ignorant opinion doesn't count for anything.

But you went beyond that and falsely accused me of lying. Since you are the one making that accusation, the burden of proof is now on you. And since I know for a fact you have no evidence I lied, no one here has any obligation to believe you. So why are you doing this? Are you competing for the Dipshit of the Year award?

In any case, I have already provided other online sources that clearly contradict your absurd claim that assembly language "has value only inasmuch new compilers have to address it and write to it correctly."

You have conspicuously avoided addressing that evidence and therefore it seems safe to assume you have no rebuttal, and thus it stands that you were mistaken in your claim.

Nope. I'm going to play this out.
There's nothing left to "play out". You have failed to make your case and there is nothing else you can add that will substantiate either of your claims.

Rob will read it because he said he's going to "play this out", which means if he doesn't read it, he won't know what play to make and thus he risks saying something even more stupid than what he's said so far.
