To help us help you keep your mind right. For your own good.

Keeping online conversation constructive requires moderation, which takes time. We worked with The New York Times and Alphabet’s Jigsaw to build Moderator, a tool that uses machine learning to significantly increase the efficiency of human moderation.

"Constructive," sure. Okay.

“Machine learning doesn't replace human moderators. It empowers them to work at super-human levels of speed and accuracy. It's a handy sidekick that lets humans focus on nuance, context and empathy.”

In the example video, the moderator flags a sentence fragment, "shut the hell up" as "obscene."

We will be soon be resorting to euphemisms.
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.
