The show certainly is getting interesting. A bit weird sometimes, but interesting

It was weird seeing the Leprechaun not being a dick.

Also, next week is the "Season Finale". Are they kidding me? Only 8 Epsisodes? What the fuck is this, Britain?

It's all well and good but I preferred Douglas Adam's original.
Shit happens. The older you get, the more often shit happens. So you have to try not to give a shit even when you do. Because, if you give too many shits, you've created your own shit creek and there's no way out other than swimming through the shit. Oh, and fuck.

Finally got around to binge-watching it. I think they did a great job of translating the book into TV series. Maybe a bit too much emphasis on Laura, she's crucial but barely in the book most of the time. I dig the visual style too, very rich.

I'm still waiting to hear more about his follow up to "Parallels".

Think of "Sliders" only it's a building that shifts from reality to reality. It's a premise that could use a fresh series. Watching some of the originals, it is still stuck in that era where there are kinda sorta story arcs but the network isn't really behind it.

The "Parallels" movie was great, and it was recently announced that it will be a series with participation by Neil Gaiman called "The Building". Unfortunately, it will be on FOX, so it will be on for one or two seasons, attract a devoted following, and then get abruptly cancelled for stupid reasons.

Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it, and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor. Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo! (Beat) Unless it's a farm!"

What I am waiting for from Gaiman is that "Good Omens" series Amazon is supposed to have committed to.

It's disappointing sometimes how many shows or movies get announced and then disappear without a trace.

Remember when HBO got the Foundation rights? Nothing since.

Earlier example--back around 1999-2000 or so, Christina Ricci was supposed to be the lead in some scifi movie about a killer cyborg. That one vanished too.

Good Omens has a terrrlible history of ending up in development hell. A movie has been in the works, off and on, since the 90s. Has never come to anything. This one was only announced early this year, so there is still hope.

Good Omens was a better read. Not by far but by some. I'd love to see that movie. Harder to translate though, ya think.

I think parts of it would be hard to translate. Like the end. But I would really like to see that movie climb out of development hell before I die.
