In the marketing they say it is "less Sesame, more Street". And Sesame Street is suing them over it.
Coming in August.
I won't go to a theater for it but I'll see it eventually.

I doubt it's a copyright violation. If they call it a parody it probably falls under fair use. Like how Spaceballs was a parody of Star Wars.
