Machine Gun Joe Viterbo.

Discuss if you're old enough to remember. :oldman:

For some reason I always get that one confused with Throw Momma From The Train, despite the fact that Stallone <> Billy Crystal

Kind of liked his work in The Lords of Flatbush

I'm hardly a Stallone completist.

I know these are the most obvious roles, but Rocky comes first to mind followed by Rambo.

I think when I saw Rambo I was too young to understand the politics of the movie. A little too simplistic if you ask me.

I was born in 1970 so I was too young to be aware of the war until it was already over.

So that is to say that you avoided the Viet Nam draft?

And you are in Japan now? Where were you then, Canada?

Yes, I cleverly dodged the draft by timing my birth to avoid it. :D

(Foolishly I ended up volunteering later but in my defense I was young at the time and not sufficiently cynical about the military.)
