Just to make it official, the Carolina Pampers to lose (although I'd rather see the Broncos get bucked).

Well, this should finally shut up Cam.

Meanwhile, I expect six months of Pats-Fan-Boys--which I am, despite appearances, not--blubbering that "we coulda won the game!"

No, you do not have the offensive line against that defense.

They will give Felatin' Peyton the MVP because but it goes to his defense.

Wow, Denver is going to win this barring a truly epic fail. ESPN has win probability at 99.7%.

Denver was 1-14 on third down, Carolina 3-15.

Don't see a case for Peyton being the MVP here.

Should go to Von Miller. Or McManus. If it is the latter, what a windfall it would be to bet on a kicker for MVP.

Been busy but the "punt" idea . . . I have been wrong on a number of predictions. I would say "congratulations to Denver" but we all know they cheat with HGH and paid off the refs!

That being [Whined.--Ed.] I am not unhappy to see the Denver defense beat the shit out of the preening baseball bat carrying douche bags. Carolina is still upset about losing to the Pats in what I still consider one of the best SB ever--even including the last one!--and now their douche-bandwagon fans will cry for years about this.

The refs did not make the penalties. The turnovers. You turned over St. Peyton and . . . got . . . nothing.

As for percentages . . . it will be interesting. Somewhere I posted the graph on "likelihood" from last year which had an amazing change, clearly. I think--searches--here is the link to the graph everyone copied which is interactive: Linkypoo. It gives the Seahawks an 88% to win then immediately shoots to 99% for the Patriots when Butler intercepts the pass.

Funny, IF the Belichick--and it was his doing--did not draw the Seamen to encroach, the Pats have a very hard time getting the ball beyond the goal line to avoid a safety. Sure . . . less than 20 seconds to get into field goal range?

I would have thought the chance of Carolina scoring two touchdowns in under a minute which would require such EPIC fail as either a turnover or a recovered onside-kick would be even less.

Not that it manners. . . .

Basically, there were still over 3 minutes left when they turned it over, and that's when the odds of the Broncos winning went over 99% (that's when I posted that). Even if they had only gotten a field goal there, it would have put them up by 9, which means two scores in 3 minutes. Highly unlikely. So before that fumble was Carolina's last moment when they still had a realistic chance to win.

Yeah, I saw that. That last turnover sealed the deal.

I said during the game that the MVP would go to a defensive player. Friends were certain it would go to manning because Manning.

I am surprised. Good because Von Miller was significant in them beating the Patriots and clearly was significant in shutting down Carolina's offense. I do not think Cam's been sacked that much in a game before.

Sooooo . . . has Peyton retired yet? Given the Washington Post has made covering up his HGH use now impossible?

Ah! Okay.

Re-looking at the graph the Seamen WP just after Lynch gets to the 4 inch mark is "only" 88%. Seems low to me, but there you go. 99% for Pats with interception. I still think it more likely for the Pats to "lose" than Carolina to make a come-back given the time and the fact they could not mount any effective offense.

But it is all academic. It is like arguing which will hurt more, sitting on a stick of dynamite or hand grenade. Maybe there is a chance one of them is a "dud."

Where is Tinkerbell? I have an idea for an experiment.

Cam Newton walks out of news conference after giving short answers

The newly crowned league MVP walked out on reporters Sunday after answering only a handful of questions, mostly with short, soft-spoken answers.

The disappointment on Newton's face was as noticeable as the lack of flare in his postgame attire. Throughout the season, Newton wore designer suits and sport coats, often with sequin-studded loafers, following games. On this night, he wore a black hoodie, with the hood pulled over his head.

How the "mighty have fallen." The page that hosts those gifs have a video of it. Even in defeat, His Merciful Dark Hoodie would leave the "hoodie" behind.

As much as I dump on "St. Peyton," The Quarterback of . . . DESTiny and all of that, he has comported himself far, far better than Douche Newton1.

One thing he is better at than Brady: humor:

I hope he doesn't have a mental breakdown. Losing the Super Bowl wouldn't exactly be an easy thing to take.
