Good point, one wonders how that would have been received.

Thanks for the reply Abdul. New Jersey 1920ish maybe a bit too close to The Recent Unpleasantness?

To clarify, regarding a nearly century old photograph. Had some yahoo bearing a Confederate flag decided to join the march one wonders the outcome.

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

It's the Beeb1. Whilst BBC2 was doing the artsy stuff like Arena and Horizon and ITV was churning out shite like this

BBC1 could always be relied upon for something vaguely decent with the proper spoken linguisticals.

My headmistress was on "Ask the family."

Lost.

Just as point of interest or nostalgia. Concorde used to fly very low over our suburb when I was a kid.

Everytime you heard that distinctive roar everyone would stop and look up. Kids, Adults, Everyone.

Such a beautiful bird.

There's a successor in the works. And it looks quite similar, if one can believe the pic. :)
