It was 40 years ago today
I discovered something quite amazing, from a physics POV
Like many “ignorant how the world actually works” people, I thought I should carefully protect my Nobel prize winning discovery, and spent many years researching to see if anyone else ever in the world had already done the experiment. This was pre internet, so it was difficult. When the www made it easier I still could find nothing about it.
11 years ago I shared it with a very smart physics dude who I met through serendipity
He agreed it was novel and interesting enough to submit a paper, even showed me how. I didn’t do shit about it.
He agreed that while it was groundbreaking and would eventually change how certain scientist would view the world, and eventually would mean physics textbooks would be changed, he explained that there would be no way to profit from it, and that was the end of his interest in the matter. He also explained that not only would nobody “steal” my findings, quite the opposite. Nobody would really care much.
Based on my demonstrating it a second time to an engineer who could appreciate what it meant, I have to agree.
I’m starting to appreciate that old axiom about new discoveries

You are delusional. But I can fix that easily.
Come here. Closer. Now look over your left shoulder.
There.
Feeling better?

I anticipate certain graphs, figures and other evidence in a particular climate thread.

Does it involve time travel or quantum anything?
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

It’s nothing strange or even unusual
It has no practical use at all, just increases understanding of some basic physics
Also I have no explanation for the reason at all
So it’s not even theory
It’s about as mundane as the data from a heliothermometer, but with no explanation of why

It was 40 years ago...
And all that adds up to is that robinsuck is an aging twat. But we knew that already. Now, let's leave the poor bastard alone so he can really enjoy his dementia to the fullest measure.

No. That old man told young robinson, what happens in the back of the van stays in the back of the van.
Such potential!

You don't quite understand. I'm not worried about what you or anyone else thinks. I imagine this would be self evident based on my posts, but fuck a duck, people still project their own world view onto others, which might explain why I actually consider y'all to not give a fuck what I think of you.Abdul Alhazred wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 11:23 pm What's it to you if we freak out amd run screaming through the streets?

I think the DDWFTTW saga really finished my giving even the slightest fuck what some anonymous fucktards think about something.

Showing why I know a lot of climate alarm is bullshit is easier than demonstrating my Nobel prize winning advances in physics

It was forty years ago today, that twenty years later Sergeant Pepper would begin teaching his band how to play.

40 years ago robinson learned how to play with his dick. He was 37.

Every few years I consider showing some really smart scientist (physics) my discovery, but then I just go “ fuck it”
