It was inevitable.

The C's without Kyrie and That Guy Who Lasted Five Minutes would have lasted three games.

Apparently he had a self-inflicted hand injury after game 1.

Did anyone expect a competitive finals really?

"A somber mood envelops the city. Citizens wear sackcloth and heap ashes onto their heads. Prices of street-vendor Cavs jerseys have dropped to historic lows. The Mayor has ordered that flags be flown at quarter mast. The streets are littered with ripped-up season tickets, gum wrappers, half-smoked cigarettes, unused condoms, and empty Night Train Express bottles."

When is the jersey burning?

You know, the burning of all of the jerseys bought a year to two years ago after burning the same jersey about ten years ago?

They signed McGee. Just ship the trophy to LA now.

I mean, I like McGee at the min. The other two knuckleheads, well... they did make it about 11% more likely I get league pass next year.

Stephenson? I wonder if LeBron called Michael Jordan or something..

LJ: So what do you miss about playing?

MJ: The titles and stuff were fun, but I really loved just destroying souls in practice. I completely derailed Drexler during the 92 Olympics, and I think Kwame Brown and Brad Sellers wince every time they see a bottle of Gatorade. That shit is fun. When they are on another team they can duck you or limit minutes and they know you won't just kick the shit out of them during a game. In practice they have nowhere to run and if shit gets real less witnesses and people will cover for you.

LJ: Hmmmm..... Might have to try that. I know just the guy.

I like yours better. Boogie gives extra value to that angle as well.

If early in game 5 of the conference finals, Stephenson manages to get Boogie and Draymond so mad they both try to punch him and he ducks so they punch each other and both get flagrant 2s... does everybody demand instituting and MVP awards for the whole playoffs so he can get it?

Cleveland just cleared LA's cap space for Lebron and another max deal next year. Which seems a bit foolish if Cleveland had any hope of his staying. LA could have gotten a pizza in return and this is a great deal for them just because of that.

The irony is, of course, that he would be only 1-6 if not for Ray Allen and Kyrie Irving.

Just heard: it is called "Victory Beer."

They will replace the beer every month if it is not consumed.

The number of "Victory Beers" that would have been drank last year?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_Cent_Beer_Night
Ten Cent Beer Night was a promotion held by Major League Baseball's Cleveland Indians during a game against the Texas Rangers at Cleveland Stadium on Tuesday, June 4, 1974.

The idea behind the promotion was to attract more fans to the game by offering 12 fluid ounce (355 ml) cups of 3.2% beer for just 10 cents each, a substantial discount on the regular price of 65 cents, with a limit of six beers per purchase but with no limit on the number of purchases made during the game.[1] During the game, fans became heavily intoxicated, culminating in a riot in the ninth inning which caused the game to be forfeited due to the crowd's uncontrollable rowdiness and because the game could not be resumed in a timely manner.[2]
