DNS for Dummies

In this scenario, I am the Dummy.

Website is on Server A, owned by Account A.

Transferred website files to Server B, owned by Account B.

DNS Records are listed in dashboard for Account A.

Cannot create a DNS record for the new IP in the dashboard for Account B.

Need to do that.

Do I delete the DNS records in the dashboard for Account A and then create new DNS records in the dashboard for Account B?

Or do I just change the IP address in the DNS records under Account A?

In the Nodeworx portion of Account B management, there are DNS records which use different nameservers than in Account A.

Tried using those nameservers at the domain registrar which promptly flagged them as invalid.

Tech support chat was useless. "Just change the IP in the DNS records." Yeah, well...those records are under Account A. I need to set them up under Account B. Deleted the records under Account A. System would not allow me to create new records under Account B. The domain is manageable under Account A but not under Account B.

I haz a tired. I am punting it to the hosting service's tech support monkeys.

In other news I was able to successfully knock the client's website offline for half an hour.

So what I need to do is to go ahead and set up glue records in the name registrar's domain management settings, and point to the IP address for the new host server. The website domain then has to be set to use the name servers in Account B. The domain itself uses a different IP. If we can go ahead and get that done tonight that'd be great.
