Shark? Jumped? Will, what is Robot trying to say?
Uh...he's saying that our ratings are strong and Netflix is interested in another season. He also says that viewers aren't at all weirded out that I grew 2 feet in one year, but still have the head and voice of an 11 year old. Yeah, all is good. We don't even need a decent plot line for season 3. Just a string of implausible coincidences, boring dialog, and new characters who add nothing to the story. I'm sure it will all end well, just like Gilligan's island, Lost, Sliders, and all those other shows where a group of people are perpetually lost.

A note: if you have the votes to control a company, you own the fucking company. Every actor knew of this plot hole, you can see it in their eyes as they look around, hoping the audience does not catch on.
I would really like a real lawyer to watch the courtroom scene in the final episode and report back.

It was crap. The only thig that allowed one to watch to the end was the acting, though come to think about it that was not great either.

I actually sat through it for more Nina Arianda who was excellent throughout.

I was thinking that she was the best thing in it. That is not saying much of course. Back in the day they would give her her own show which would play off her irritating (but amusing) personality. It would be cancelled midway thru it's first season.
I have heard that Thornton is a dick in real life. This was a payday for him.

The Expanse (again).
Hoping for a satisfactory conclusion after a (slightly) disappointing 5th season.

Now starting "Grey's Anatomy". I could do without the jukebox music in every goddamn scene.

Absolutely annoyed the shit of me for a few years. Every goddam US TV show had to have "emotional wrap up and satisfactory conclusion with accompanying Coldplay " for a while.
They even tried that shit over here. Didnt last long.

Aw why do you hate scenes of intricate heart surgery with a bright Nickelback soundtrack while the patient dies?

Re: What have you been watching lately
I watched 'The Last Duel'. It's an alright film, a little bit miscast with Matt Damon (but IMO oddly not Ben Affleck). But it's otherwise well done and directed. Although I am not familiar with France of that period, it seemed to at least try to be historically accurate.
In the end I think the Japanese original 'Rashomon' was better.

Now watching "The Silent Sea". Seems interesting. Not based on the Cussler novel, though.

Interesting.
Enjoying The Expanse which, so far, is doing a decent job of condensing the last three books into a season. Something "Dumb 'n Dumber" could not do with The Game of the Thrones.

Game of Thrones had its moments but mostly it seemed to be filler between scenes of women getting ass-raped.

Re: What have you been watching lately
They know where their bread is buttered.
It reminded me of Rome which really wanted to make the second season two. They were only given the second season so they had to struggle to compress 20 years into one year.
Dumb 'n Dumber did not have to do this. They chose to do it.
Danny is mad. In the novels there are indications that she is losing a grip, wondering about it, blah . . . blah . . . blah. Throw in all the abuse and Martin masturbating to food and the Jets and it develops slowly and understandably.
Yes.
He does.
So over 500-page books it is not a problem.
In this case it was, "okay, we need you to go megalomaniacally insane in two episodes."
Fans complained that there was "no chemistry" between her and John.
Because they were given one episode to develop it. He had more screen time with the wilding he eventually married in real life.
From what I have seen of The Expanse they are doing pretty well compressing like three books into a final season by dropping the basic plot and moving on.
Which is neat.
In the asteroid rain.

The Squid Game.
The opening reminds me of the opening to Oldboy.
