So far, Season 4 is looking slightly better than Season 3, though I'm not on board with the over-the-top bullies and the total pussification of El without her powers.
Some of the actors, who where already too old for their roles, have aged and now look more than a bit silly posing as high school students.

You're supposed to be 17. Let's try looking a little less 35 a hooked on heroine.
And I just happened to watch Black Widow shortly before Hopper's scenes in the Soviet prison and was like, wait a second, this looks very familiar 🤔.

Did they shoot Val from the neck up?
Because he has not exactly defeated the Fat.
Not everyone can be Winona . . . or Helen . . . or, well, Tom.
– J.D.
Nah they shot him full but they
Spoiler:
wrote in the cancer for Val's character 'Iceman' so he didn't have to do much; it was a nice scene. Well acted, as well as one can act in such a condition.
In a long tradition of forcing my children to watch or read things I enjoyed (incl. in part: Speed Racer; Batman TAS; Freakazoid; The Tick, Mission Impossible; Columbo; Justice League Unlimited; Harvey Birdman; HHGTTG; Black Adder; LoTR; Support Your Local Sheriff; Young Frankenstein; Monty Python (and the Holy Grail); Princess Bride; Yes, Minster) . . . .
I made them watch Yojimbo today. Huge fans, thus proving that they are my children and worthy to live.

I listened to the 80s music channel on Sirius XM whenever the kids were in the car with me.
A year ago, my son had a teacher that was in to 80s music, and he started each day with a game. He would play the 1st three seconds of an eighties song an whomever guessed the title first would get a sticker. Another sticker if they could guess the band name.
I didn't know about any of this until the end of the school year when the boy showed me all his trophy stickers.
Now, every time I want to kill him, I remember those stickers and think, no.....there's still good in him.

No, I do not hate Ringo. Despite all of the stories, he did some decent work. It is Beatles; it is not fucking Rush or Genesis when Tony Banks still thought Peter Gabriel's latest Mushroom Adventure required music.
Also, unlike one of the Monkees drummers, he did not kill anyone.
Billions got Woke. Last season turned into a piece of crap. Read the reviews on Amazon, they tell the story. https://www.amazon.com/Cold-Storage/dp/ ... C88&sr=8-2
Preachy, hypocritical, woke = Broke.
Really sad.
Now ... Succession on the other hand has gotten very interesting. One of the most interesting characters I have seen lately is named Shiv (Siobhan). It is sorta billions except you see how the really rich really live (n.b. Its different). Certainly worth a binge. Then report back
Check her visa, Pyrrho. Probably expired. Needs a better disguise too. Not good to repeatedly neutralize all the Netflix watchers. That's how Trump ended up getting elected

Two films on tonight.
The way we were - Barbra Streisand
Or
John Carpenter's "The Thing."
Well thats a fucking conundrum isn't it?
One is about a vile disgusting creature living among humans and pretending to be one of them, so if you have a weak stomach, you should watch The Thing instead.
Why don't we just sit awhile, and see what happens.
Train to Busan
Has That Guy Who Played a Child's Game with You in Squid Game Promising You Lots of Whatever the Fuck a Won is and Kept Slapping You in the Face because You Truly Suck in it.
Divorce? Overworked? Daughter hates you because you cannot even make her recital?

Let us add Zombies!
Joe Bob Briggs says check it out.

Brilliant movie. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.

Sequel takes the phrase "crashing disappointment" to new levels. Liked the animated prequel too.
Interesting. I thought the lead actor was wonderfully cast in his small role in Squid Game. In a way, he has a similar role in that he is a financier who exists off the potential misery of others. One can "guess" his character arc, but he does a good job with it.
His daughter is well cast. Movies and series that have "kids" live and die on their casting. GoT is an example where they "got it right." Anything with Dakota Fanning is "wrong."
This also gets the "point" of the Japanese Original "Zombie" Film and good versions that follow: it is not about the zombies; it is about the people.

Elsewhere, sadly, The Boys is jumping the shark in excruciatingly slow motion.
Really? Seems to me they're just dressing up Fox News and the GOP in costumes. Otherwise it's their script, point for point, right down to the taco bowls when Trump took over.
