For games that aren't offered for free, yes.

Just like I pay for music and movies. I know I'm totally crazy for wanting money to go to the producers of content I enjoy.

I would say so. I replayed it a few times - light side, dark side, do everything stupid side, etc.

Absolutely you will get your money's worth and then some.

Out of the box it is already a fantastic game. I can give you a list of mods that raise the bar even higher, but I am not sure about Steam version compatibility.

It may be someone will need to make Workshop versions of them. Perhaps I should learn how.

Update: Steam's version can accept the mods, but it is actually better to install them manually than futz around with the Workshop in this case. A lot of the mods were implemented there by people other than the developers, with unpredictable consequences. The mods work fine as long as you find the right path to put them in.
