No character in a tv show or movie ever says "goodbye" at the end of a phone conversation. They just hang up.

We get a lot of casino/slot parlor advertising around here, and everyone in the ads is young and good looking and they're all having fun and winning every time. The last time I was in a casino, the place was full of chain-smoking blue-haired old ladies with wheelchairs and oxygen tanks. I guess things have changed since then.
