My Zoology teacher in college came in one day for lab, and announced that he'd shot his rooster last night. Which he'd bought himself. Because it woke him up with its crowing.Pyrrho wrote:Got one next door that crows every morning at 5:00 am. One of these days he's gonna end up in my stewpot.robinson wrote:Except the ones on the dinner table.Pyrrho wrote: Sooner or later, all the chickens will come home to roost.
Now, the obvious question, as he certainly knew roosters crow early in the morning is: THEN WHY'D YOU BUY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!
Seriously. He got out of bed, got his gun, shot it, and went back to sleep. Crazy, crazy man. Good teacher though.

How does a Zoology teacher not know that if a rooster can't stand up, it cannot crow. Put it in something that they have to crouch down in, and they will be quiet.Quester_X wrote:My Zoology teacher in college came in one day for lab, and announced that he'd shot his rooster last night. I hate to say it, but that rooster's a better man than I am.Quester_X wrote:My Zoology teacher in college came in one day for lab, and announced that he'd shot his rooster last night. Maybe if Pyrrho's were warmed he could crow more and complain less?
And Mrs. Pyrrho would not keep having the Pool Boy over to clean the snow out?
Just a thought. . . .
