It has come and gone again. Twins are two. Funny kids. Celebrating their birthday makes the memory of losing the folks less painfull. Carry on my fellow sc family.

That was a quick three years. Still missed but enjoying the twin boys turning three on the 20th.

Four years? FOUR?

Fuck.

Guess my grandma was right when she said time speeds up as you slow down.

How are the nippers getting along?

Nippers are funny. They were in the prem-e ward for about three weeks or so when they wre born. One would never know by looking at them. Their parents are Christians cultish types. Good people in spite of that. I have my work cut out for me. But what else would a good grampa do but deprogramme.

He was a good man, that Luke T.

Sometimes, late at night, you can still hear his echo blowing across the forum.

Well well well. It's that time of year again. Six years to be exact. The World Series and suffering through Chicago sports teams just aren't the same without my dad. A day to reflect on the loss of my parents and the gain of grandchildren.

Izzy...

I know what you mean...I still reach for the phone to tell my dad about upcoming boxing matches...or ask him a question..and he has been dead 15yrs..

I go to reach for the phone and then suddenly realise..and then have a little think and remembrance of my dad..

:)

I get the jokes, sports lulz. But then this motherfucker spends who knows how long data mining all the movies in the following comic but has the testicular fortitude to make fun of people liking sports. Shitty hypocrisy is shitty.
