More seriously, from Bugger[Stop that! – Ed.] the BBC:
Ex-Tokyo governor Yoichi Masuzoe said in a tweet that the 67-year-old Mr Abe was in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest.

The term is often used before a death is officially confirmed in Japan.

The Fire and Disaster Management Agency confirmed that Mr Abe had a bullet wound on the right of his neck, and also suffered subcutaneous bleeding under the left part of his chest.
Not good.

Holy Shit, I just saw this in the news. Assassinated while giving a speech apparently.

He stepped down from PM for health reasons. And it has been confirmed that he is dead.

The gun, by the way, appears to have been hand-made.

You can't just go into a store and buy them here.

I had a chance to take a look at the situation in Japan. And what I have seen, after visiting over 70 churches, and I've talked to the brothers and sisters who have donated large amounts of money. In Japan if you go to any church you will find brothers and sisters who donated one million dollars, two million dollars, three million dollars, eight million dollars, ten million dollars. There is even a sister who donated one hundred million dollars. And I have met all these people because I have been out in the field on the front line, talking with our brothers and sisters. And then I asked them, "What moves you to donate so much money?" And you will see that in so many cases, our brothers and sisters will tell you that their ancestors came to them and told them to do it.

As Japanese news is reporting, our friend Komuro is coming up on his third* attempt at the New York bar.

It's likely just a confidence issue at this point.

He needs to remind himself that he's banging a former princess.

Maybe someone should send him a link to this scene from "A Few Good Men." (Ha! Ha!)

* By the way, everyone remembers how many tries it took shuize to pass his bar exam, right?

Yeah, there's a certain type of otaku that can be a real dick.

But those skinny guys were all bark.

In fact, the most I heard was "This normally means money."

Of course, I'm not an expert on these things, but if you're going to say shit like that you'd better follow up by actually demanding money or you're just going to sound like a fucking pussy.

Japan's police to take measures after wild monkey rampages

Japanese police are turning to tranquiliser guns in an attempt to stem the tide of wild monkey attacks that have been terrorising residents.

In recent weeks, 42 people have been reported injured in Yamaguchi city - including children and the elderly.

The attacks are being blamed on Japanese macaques.

However, while they are a common sight in large parts of the country, incidents like these are unusual.

"It's rare to see this many attacks in a short period of time," said one city official, declining to give their name. "Initially only children and women were attacked. Recently elderly people and adult men have been targeted too."

He gots what's coming to him:
Japan has executed a 39-year-old man who killed seven people in Tokyo in 2008 during a stabbing rampage.

Tomohiro Kato committed one of the most shocking mass murders in the country's recent history.

He was 25 when he drove a truck into a lunch-time crowd of pedestrians at Akihabara shopping district, killing three people.

He then stabbed passers-by with a dagger, killing four and wounding eight.

He was apprehended by police at the scene and later admitted his crimes in his trial, saying he had been angered by online bullying.

BBC
And that's that.

Villainess from the children's Kamen Rider series infamous for her skill with manhole covers.

Actress has become a spokes women for . . .

. . .

. . . sewers?

Although the character’s appearance only lasted two episodes, she made an impact. This was in no small part due to the acting chops of Yumiko Shaku, who manages to make throwing a manhole cover around look very natural. Shaku’s role in Kamen Rider Zi-O earned her the title of “Manhole Joyu” (“Manhole Actress”).

“I wasn’t aware of it, but Kamen Rider Zi-O really went viral,” Shaku told media, “It was like my name was associated with manhole covers, and I’m thankful that I got a lot of work from it.” She added with a laugh, “I will do my best as the Manhole Joyu from here on out.”
