Took the boat on lake Léman (or lake Geneva, as they call it in Geneva…), a bit over 3 hours for the trip. Interesting vintage machinery, alas now hidden behind some plexiglass shielding for "security reasons" (ugh!), which wasen't the case ~ 10 years ago.
No propeller, waterwheels. I enjoyed their sound shuffling the water, a slightly irregular progress of the ship, and the deep rumble of the motor.
And they serve tolerable beer.
