If Jim had a fucking drummer he would not have died. Can't say that for the drummer.

You could have shown some vintage chicks at least:asthmatic camel wrote:I had a quick look and don't think I've posted this before.
White boy blues at its best.

Nice. I picked up a harp and jammed along.
Now, my lips are ripped to bits and I'm expecting an attack of herpes simplex.

You aren't conceptual enough: you must think the note, not play it.

Abdul, believe it or believe it not but I used to play double bass at school. It's a bitch of an instrument to play, let alone carry around, (try fitting a double bass into a Ford Escort some time; me and my old Mum used to manage it somehow!)

Re: Bluesy music.
I have no experience with 78 rpm, but as a general rule wear kills the high frequencies. So my bet is on half-assed attempt to "restore quality". (If i remember well it's the odd multiples of the basic frequencies which tend to sound harsh/distorted.)

Re: Bluesy music.
Not exactly, precisely bluesy but it's played on a harmonica and was included on a "floppy" 45 "record" included with a beginner's book, way back when I decided that the harmonica would be far less trouble than a double bass.
Astonishing.
(At my best, I could play this at half the speed. With bum notes)

Re: Bluesy music.
One that never got a lot of radio play.
I guess the lyrics are such that it would make some people uncomfortable. It's funky though.
