I'm happy that my kids are enjoying this show as much as I am. We binge watched the first 4 episodes today. I made them stop for the day, but it was so hard to hit that stop button.

I actually like the new girl "Mad Max." These characters--"young sassy girl" are so overplayed and trite. She does a very good job of being believable and having depth. In a way, it is like the way Arya and Joffrey were played by their respective actors. Got to give kudos to kids who play very well.

Finished the last episode last night.

The whole season was fantastic. Better that Season 1. It was a great time, watching it with my kids. They've been asking me questions about what it was like in the 80s. Good times. I haven't had this much fun in such a long time. I'm very grateful for all the work and thought that went into this TV series.

Spoiler:

We paused the show to have a moment of silence for Bob. The drama was so emotional. We were wailing "BOB! NOOOOOooooo".

Be sure to watch all 7 episodes of Beyond Stranger Things. Those actors are great kids. Funny and relate-able. "Dude, this is an interview. Why are you blowing your nose?" :lol:

For several of the kids, the last episode was their very first kiss. There was a moment when they realized that their very first kiss was not only in front of hundreds of extras, the director, and their parents, with multiple takes, but it was filmed close-up and recorded for all the world to see, again and again, for all time. :notsure:

The only thing I have accidentally caught is that the directors/producers having to defend the episode I am watching.

First question was whether or not 11 comes back.

I told her she would hate it if I spoiled that. Her "hurrumphf" signaled that I, indeed, will inherit her collection of toe clippings from famous extras of movie and stage.

She did admit after a few episodes she appreciated me not spoiling the relationship between 11 and Hopper.

"But does it explain how she found him?"

Apparently, I am now in the running for "discarded tissues from notable accountants from Hartford."

None of the characters sounded English to me in the show itself, but apparently at least two of them were.
