Seeing as all local media who actually might check the source is reporting it, it could be legit.

I thought of phoning the hospital to check, but there might be more important calls trying to get through. So I'm not going to bother.

What's being done about the e-scooter menace:

West Midlands Police are warning people to make sure they understand the law when it comes to using a private e-scooter if they are thinking of buying one this Christmas.

At the moment it is legal to buy a private e-scooter but illegal to use it anywhere on public land.

You can see on that vid that e-scooter riders have little or no regard for other people. They are all like that. Moreover, they are not insured, do not pay vehicle tax or wear safety equipment.

Govt. should employ Japanese snipers.

Worse than cyclists and contestants on reality TV shows. And thats saying something.

Vehicles seized by the local authorities remain the possession of the owner. What is not mentioned or publicised is that the owners can re-claim these instruments of Satan for...er..dollars. I would assume the reason for this is that "any fule no" or "should noe" that a confiscated vehicle can be reclaimed.

If, however, confiscated vehicles are not claimed within a certain time they are put up for public auction (I think similar in the US if memory serves) dependent of course on road worthiness.

As for the Government/Crown utilusing confiscated property from the public domain without consent? Not on your fackin' nellie, sahn. I think we know where that one leads.

“Newly-emerged evidence seems to have debunked the British broadcaster BBC’s claim that a group of Jewish teenagers uttered an “anti-Muslim slur” as they were being attacked by a gang in an antisemitic incident near central London in November of last year.”

Aka the “they were asking for it/not the real victim”. Stay classy BBC.
