This could've gone in a lot of different threads here, but it's so good (so far) that I thought it should get it's own.
About 55 minutes in on HBO and this thing is very very good.

I enjoyed it and am looking forward to "It: Chapter 2" next year, which should be a novelization of the OTHER half of the book.
My only peeve is that in the novels, they ran the story of "The Loser's Club" as children and the one of them as Adults (which, presumably, would be "Chapter 2" in the movies). But this (and the 90s miniseries) separates them entirely. You'd have to rad the book, but I think you lose a lot doing it that way. Things mirror each other, and that's harder to see in two movies made a couple of years apart

I assume that’s what Sparks meant, watching that remake on HBO.
