Truman Capote

I discovered him recently. Yeah, I read In Cold Blood (ICB) back in the day and I suppose I read some of his stories back then but I seriously started to read Capote a year ago. I think it was when they found and published some of his very early stuff (like when he was in HS):

Few writers could/can turn a phrase as well as Capote. He really was a master of the English language.

Anyway, I was poking around, trying to find his collected essays/reviews and found this "interview" with Marlon Brando ca. 1957 (full story at the link).

I have a pal who was a bartender in NY ages ago. One of his patrons was Capote. He told me that when asked "how much orange juice in your vodka, Mr. Capote?" Capote replied "just enough to murk it up". :D My kinda guy.
