It sure does look nice, Doc, but I'd only be buying it for bragging rights. My Ridgeback Horizon's probably nearly as light and more practical.

It was practical. Got it for far less than advertised, and the brakes are a serious upgrade. Much lighter than the Late Lamented Raleigh which increased my average speed significantly; however, I do not actually ride for speed.

Yeah, around 15 MPH is a decent average for most fit cyclists source on the flat over a fair distance.

It's still a whole load of fucking fun screaming down the Horseshoe Pass once you've struggled up to the top and the Ponderosa, (no idea while it's called that), perved at some beautiful Welsh ladies and them hit the cattle grid at the bottom with no warning signs.
