I would say Harry married above his station. Meghan is a Hollywood star! Harry hasn't starred in anything. He barely has an IMDB page. Meghan is a self-made millionaire. Harry still gets an allowance from his daddy, who in turn gets his cash off the government dole. A welfare queen! Fuckin' loser. He's a second fiddle. A country bumpkin at best. Made to be milked.

Or maybe a trained actress knows how to hold centre stage when a camera is in the room over a notoriously uncharismatic public speaker whom, being a member of the Royal Family, is obviously qualified to tell people how bad colonialism is despite living off it's back for 35 years.Abdul Alhazred wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 7:08 pm OK it's the Daily Fail and all that. But I'm guessing there's just enough truth to this story that it brought a smile to my face. :)
No wonder he looks awkward. Probably embarrassed.

I'm not saying Meghan wears the pants in that relationship, but Harry looks good in a kilt.

The 70-year-old author who appeared in I’m A Celebrity said the wife of Prince Harry has political ambitions and her decision to move to the United States was part of the plan.

Speaking to FEMAIL!, Lady Campbell said, I know the Duchess of Sussex has political ambitions and I’ve been told that one day she wants to run for President.

In some states "revenge porn" is illegal. Is a "sex tape" surreptitiously recorded without knowledge of at least one of the participants legitimate news? Or just a salacious invasion of someone's privacy? Gawker tried to argue the former. A jury didn't agree.

But she had to leave the UK because she couldn't stand the "intrusive press coverage".

Can anyone glean any slight meaning from that mess of verbiage? Does it give anyone a glimmer of an idea as to what work the couple might actually do to earn their millions from Netflix? Answers please. Our lives, both independent of each other, and as a couple have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection.
Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.
As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens.

What they are going to do is to actualize their life experience with particular regard to their interface with oppressed and marginalized communities. This will be leveraged in a positive, humanistic, ecosystem for the general betterment of those that had been outside of the patriarchal framework.

Well, clearly there's different kinds of press coverage. I think "intrusive" is one of those classic British understatements.
Of course in the modern world moving to a different continent doesn't really make any difference, does it?
At least as far as the British tabloids are concerned. They can run but they cannot hide.

Re: Meghan and Harry thread
Ooooh, an "EXCLUSIVE". :lol:Abdul Alhazred wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:30 pm Double helping of dissing. The Don (by proxy) + the Daily Fail.
EXCLUSIVE: 'They made Britain great again by leaving, I hope they do the same for us.' Outraged senior campaign advisor to President Trump disses Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for insinuating themselves into U.S. election
A bit fatuous to call it election interference when no American gives a shit what Harry thinks.President Donald Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski teed off on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they recorded a video plug urging Americans to register to vote and Harry urged Americans to 'reject hate speech.'
- Harry and Meghan urged citizens to register to vote in the November 3 election
- The Duchess of Sussex spoke of the 'most important election of our lifetime'
- 'As we approach this November, it's vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity,' Harry said
- Corey Lewandowski, senior advisor to the Trump campaign, blasted the couple for insinuating themselves in the US election
- Royal family members are expected to remain strictly neutral in UK politics
- Critics said they should give up their titles if they wanted to comment on the US
- Viewers thought it was 'obvious' that Harry and Meghan were backing Joe Biden
'They made Britain great again by leaving, I hope they do the same for us,' Lewandowski, now a senior 2020 advisor to the Trump campaign, told DailyMail.com Wednesday, in comments after Harry and Meghan's comments in a Time 100 video message made waves on both sides of the Atlantic.
...
Maybe some Democrats will stick up for him just because he was dissed by The Don (by proxy), but that's not the same as giving a shit what Harry thinks.
I rate this story five of these ==> :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Let's see what else it says:
So a 36-year-old man, well over the legal voting age in Britain, but who has never bothered to vote himself, thinks it's important for the rest of us to vote. :lol:Speaking in a Time 100 video message, apparently filmed from their California home, Harry admitted he was not eligible to vote - adding that he had never voted in the UK either where convention dictates that royals keep well clear of politics.
While Harry and Meghan did not name their favored candidate, many viewers thought it 'obvious' they were backing Joe Biden over Donald Trump - although a source close to Harry denied this.

Harry is just doing what Meghan told him to do - same as always. He's not smart enough to make any decisions by himself.
Once again, Meghan has got what she desires - lots of lovely publicity.

PIERS MORGAN: Meghan and Harry's brazen disregard for royal neutrality rules to dump on Trump leaves the Queen with no option but to strip them of ALL their royal titles
Daily Fail
Short version: They would no longer be the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, etc.
So is that just an unwritten rule or is it actually a law? It's one of the cast-iron rules of being a member of the Royal Family - that you don't spout off your own political opinions for public consumption because it would damage the integrity of the Monarchy.
I know why they stay out of politics, or at least keep it behind closed doors, but isn't that just a convention?
Heck, I think the guy next in line for the throne (Charlie) has made public statements of a vaguely political nature. Not endorsing a particular candidate, but advocating for certain causes.
