In some states "revenge porn" is illegal. Is a "sex tape" surreptitiously recorded without knowledge of at least one of the participants legitimate news? Or just a salacious invasion of someone's privacy? Gawker tried to argue the former. A jury didn't agree.

Of course in the modern world moving to a different continent doesn't really make any difference, does it?

Short version: They would no longer be the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, etc.

It's one of the cast-iron rules of being a member of the Royal Family - that you don't spout off your own political opinions for public consumption because it would damage the integrity of the Monarchy.

So is that just an unwritten rule or is it actually a law?

I know why they stay out of politics, or at least keep it behind closed doors, but isn't that just a convention?

Heck, I think the guy next in line for the throne (Charlie) has made public statements of a vaguely political nature. Not endorsing a particular candidate, but advocating for certain causes.
