If you are the master of your own domain you can usually install WordPress or some other blogging software and roll your own. Have to be sure to keep it up to date and avoid add-ons, because WordPress installations are a hacker magnet. Then again, so is this forum software, so whatever.

Yup. The other option is that if you know a bit of HTML, you can roll your own by just making web pages for your blog, no need for blogging software. Or hire a geek on Fiverr.
