Well, I went all in again one hand back, given my general level of insanity I'll probably do it again soon. It's only a matter of time in any case. :D
I think the big hold up has been Yahweh and I passing chips back and forth without knocking either out. I think it's been 3 or 4 times now we've gone all in against each other, only for the loser of that hand to claw back in.

Yeah, I actually think both of you played that hand pretty well. Though Yahweh's call was definately more of a gamble, you've got to figure with 3 diamonds on the board and one in your hand, the odds of him having the flush don't seem too great. And even if he does, another diamond and you win anyway.
Interesting hand, at any rate. :)

shemp just hit the devil number - once we get to three the stooge dominates.
I've watched poker shows where the hour starts with some no name in the very comfortable chip lead. A half-hour later he's shambling away from the table to weep into whatever stupid hat he decided to wear that day.
I could definitely be that guy.

Good game. I figured it was just a matter of time before you picked up a hand you would call with and I'd be toast. K high (or so I hear) is favored over a random hand, so I figured I'd push it. Was actually getting decent cards there when it was down to 2 (well, decent cards heads up, anyway)
Wish you'd gone all in the hand before, I had an AQ. :D
But hey, first tournament I've ever played in, I feel reasonably good about my performance. Only moderately inept. ;)

I'm pleased to see our forum-wide nightmare has finally come to an end...
I'm out of the forum poker business though... anyone who wants to start up the poker challenge III or whatever feel perfectly free to do so, although I'd suggest something more in line with the structure of the first one...
Heck, I might even play if someone is silly enough to run the thing...

Woohoo!
Thanks, Aoidoi. Great game. I was dealt a 2 paired with some other unroyal trash for five straight hands there, and was starting to get worried.
Thanks to RCC for starting this madness, and Adam for stepping up.
And shemp, I'm still feeling the fuzzy camaraderie from when we both got knocked out on the same hand in the first tourney.
Beleth gets half my winnings.
