Visually Great.
But the plot is complete nonsense from start to finish. And I don't mean the part about the giant monkey and the giant firebreathing iguana. The many many plot holes and hand waves make them look completely plausible by comparison.
I just finished watching it and I have a headache now.

HBO Max.
I do agree with the reviewer above that this one is a step up from the last one. But to me that is more a testament to how bad the last one was, not that this one was particularly good.

Re: Godzilla Vs. Kong
I still have this downloaded to watch, but just can't get excited for it.
I loved cheesy Godzilla movies as a late GenX kid. They were not great movies. They were awesome to a 6 year old.
Godzilla 1985 was something that excited me because I had no idea it was even being made. Back then, you just weren't aware sometimes.
The most recent American reboot of both franchises, sucked. So my expectations are already low and I'm like, "okay, maybe I can do this as a popcorn movie just to watch kaiju fight".
Maybe find a fanedit that trims the dead weight subplots or just get high and watch the full spectacle?
